Sightglass Coffee - SoMa

SoMa, San Francisco

I don’t know why, but the granola from this Sightglass Coffee lives rent free in my mind. Was it incredibly delicious? I honestly don’t remember. Maybe I just really love how it looks it looks in a photo.

I mentioned in a previous post that I had a tendency toward overexposure early in my photographic career, and I’m really excited to see a lot more dark and moody stuff already starting to develop just a few months later. This is a beauty of shooting hundreds of photos a day every day. There’s nothing better for developing your craft than working at it relentlessly.

I followed a simple piece of advice I got from a friend:

“Be Prolific”
— Moiz K. Malik

That said, while the look developed, there were still a ton of ultra-ultra-ultra wide images that I culled out of this set for presenting it today. I did see little moments in some of those compositions that could have potentially been cropped into, but that’s an adventure for another day. Right now filling out the guidepost here is my priority. There are literally thousands of places to get through, so there’s no time to spare fiddling with old images.
